Fans were stunned after boxing champion Ryan Garcia announced the birth of his first son moments before announcing the divorce of his wife.
When it comes to in-ring matters, the former WBC interim lightweight champion was able to bounce back last month after his TKO loss to Gervonta Davis in April.
Garcia finished off Oscar Duarte off in round eight when they met in Houston on December 2.
Duarte gave Garcia a host of problems, but the 25-year-old was able to see him off with a knockout victory.

"I just had to slow his momentum down," said Garcia.
"He was building momentum, momentum, and I was like, 'Man, I got to cut this off somehow.' ... He was a strong fighter.
"He took a good punch. ... I hit him with some hard shots, and he just kept coming.
"It was tough. It was very tough. ... I have the killer instinct. Sometimes when I hurt somebody that bad, I just be cracking them."

Outside of the ring though, his fans were shocked by the way he revealed two big updates to his personal life.
The boxer took to social media to announce the birth of his first child just moments before announcing the divorce of his wife.
"Honored To announce my Beautiful First Born SON," he wrote alongside a pic of his newly-born son.

"PRAISE THE LORD. I am so thankful, I love him so much already. He is so fast already haha.
"Took him just 8 min to arrive. You know where he got that speed from lol. GOD DID! And GOD WILL.
"HENRY LEO GARCIA. He will be ten times stronger, ten times wise, ten times better looking but he will need to work ten times harder. THANK YOU LORD I LOVE YOU."
In another now-deleted post, the boxing star also announced that he and his wife Andrea Celina have split.

The former couple got married in 2021 and have two other children together.
As shared by TMZ, Garcia told his fans: "As I step into a new chapter in my life, it's with a heavy heart to share that Drea and I have decided to divorce.
"While this decision marks the end of our marriage, it's important to emphasise that our relationship as co-parents remains our top priority."

He called Celina an 'incredible mother and an even more extraordinary mother', adding: “I’m deeply grateful for the years we shared and for her unwavering commitment to our family.”
Celina has yet to officially address the break-up post herself.
