Tyson Fury has explained the reasoning behind not seeing or speaking to his wife Paris for the three months building up to his hugely anticipated rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Now aged 36, Fury met Paris back when she was 15 and he was 17, with their relationship starting a year later.
They have been together ever since, tying the knot back in 2008 before raising seven children together at their home in Morecambe.

But in the build up to fight against Usyk, which takes place on Saturday (21 December) in Saudi Arabia, the Gypsy King revealed he hasn't spoken to or seen his wife or kids for the three or so months leading up to the rematch.
It is the second fight between Fury and Usyk, with the Ukrainian handing Manchester-native Fury his first career loss in their first bout back in May 2024.
A close fight, Usyk won by split decision with two judges giving the result to him while a third said that Fury had edged it.

To prepare for the rematch, Fury revealed this week he and Paris haven't spoken a single word to each other for the 12 or so weeks building up to the fight. And he's now explained that.
"I've been away for months on end. I've not even spoke to me wife in over three months now," Tyson said in an interview with Sky Sports ahead of the big rematch.
"Not one word because I'm enjoying myself in my training camp and I don't want to go from being a husband and a dad to be a beast.

"I want to stay in beast mode.
"It doesn't have to be like that but I've chose that route for this fight.
"I'm just looking forward to it all and getting in there and doing what I got to do."

Now, just days before the fight, Paris has shared a snap to her Instagram Stories herself and her eldest son, 13-year-old Prince John James, on a private jet bound for Saudi Arabia with the two set to watch Fury's fight in person.
On the silence, Paris said: "People don't see the sacrifices made.
"I've let him solely concentrate on this fight. It seems like he's been gone forever, especially with no contact, but if it's what he needs."
