Apple Car will be available soon with some exciting features which link to iPhones

Apple is working on a top-secret car with their own technology, but a pretty pricey tag attached.

The world of technology has been giving us exactly what we need to make life a lot easier, but it’s generally devices no bigger than our hands, until now.

In our quest for bigger and better, it seems as though one giant manufacturer has decided to take the plunge and branch out from their usual phone creations and take on something a little larger.

Obviously, it’s Apple. Is anyone surprised?

After revolutionising the mobile device world with their iPhones, the tablet world with iPads and the world of watches with Apple Watches, they’re now taking on vehicles.

Apple has been battling rumours about their intention to build a car since 2014, after Tesla gained popularity and now it’s rumoured to be definitely happening.

Apparently, they’re working on an Apple Car but it’s hush hush for now.

Though it’s a top-secret operation the mobile giant is undertaking, there are a few things that have been let slip by loose lips which are bloody exciting to any car fanatic!

This new vehicle, unofficially dubbed the ‘iCar’, doesn’t actually have a name yet but is allegedly known internally to those working on the creation as ‘Project Titan’.

Sounds immediately cool.

Now let’s get into the good stuff: the features.

First, the Apple Car will obviously be running on Apple’s iOS, which isn’t at all surprising, especially when other brands are trying the same thing.

Mercedes is even trying their hand at operating systems after unveiling its first in-house software for their own cars.

But let’s get back to Apple.

In a world where electric cars are all the range, Apple’s car will be electric and autonomous, but it’s not for the adrenaline junkies as it’s more of a cruiser-type car vs a racer.

It's thought that it will closely resemble a Tesla.

You might even be able to start your car via your iPhone if Apple’s CarPlay has anything to do say about it.

This is a feature that allows users to get directions and play music on your car's built-in display, as well as using digital car keys to unlock and start your car with an iPhone.

The way in which the tech giant is researching their model, it’s likely that the Apple Car will be a lot like a Tesla than a standard sports car, as it’s built with a focus on technology and smart features.

Plus, Tesla has got to know they’re the blueprint when even Elon Musk is talking about it on national television.

Musk spoke to the BBC about the Apple Car, which essentially solidified that this was actually happening and not just a rumour.

He said about Apple’s secrecy surrounding the project: “It’s pretty hard to hide if you hire a thousand engineers to do it.”

But it’s unlikely you’ll get your hands on it this year, as these things take time to buffer out any issues.

It’s also likely to cost you a pretty hefty price for all of these features, which is pretty standard for Apple to hike the price anyway.

Supercar Blondie recently predicted that the Apple Car will likely be within the same price range as the Tesla Model X and the newly unveiled Sony Afeela EV, at around $100,000 per car.

Is this a car that tickles your fancy?
