Most of us have to keep our phone chargers close these days as our phone's battery life is constantly on the blink.
But a tech whizz may have the answer to the prayers of Android users with this handy hack.

They shared a short clip on the video sharing platform explaining that the trick would 'make your battery last longer'.
Android owners were obviously all ears, as many have become sick of being caught short while they're out and about.
The video explained that people should head to 'Settings' before clicking on the 'Privacy' category.
On this page, you will then notice a toggle next to the words 'Send diagnostic data'.

You need to make sure this is switched off - so if it's not, get swiping.
From there, you will be greeted with some information regarding sending the diagnostic data.
There are two options beneath the jargon, which you need to deselect, before you can then click 'OK'.

Apparently that is all you need to do to ensure you're making the most out of your phone's battery.
Social media users seemed to give the hack their seal of approval in the comment section.
One wrote: "Wow, it works."
Another said: "I done that months ago, seems good so far."

A third added: "Thanks! It works."
Others were left confused at how the privacy settings are connected to their device's battery life. And hey, so am I.
But let's leave that one for the tech experts.
The TikTok maestro also shared two other videos with advice for making their battery last longer.

They told users to head to 'Settings' and onto 'Battery and device care'.
From there, select the 'Battery' category, then 'Background usage limits' and finally 'Deep sleeping apps'.
You can then click the plus icon in the top right corner before selecting the apps you don't use from the list that appears.
Simply click 'Add', and Bob's your uncle.
The other tip again follows the first two instructions, but then diverts phone users to the 'Device care' tab instead.
You then click on the three dots in the right hand corner, select 'Automation' and turn on 'Auto optimize daily'.
Each clip shared online has racked up millions of views, so the tech expert must be onto something.
