Tesco has revealed a very welcome new addition to its meal deals, with some shoppers branding it a 'game changer'.
The supermarket chain announced last week that the price of its meal deal would be increasing to £3.50 - except for Tesco clubcard holders who will still pay £3.
But alongside the changes to the price, Tesco has announced a new drink option for a limited time only.

Hungry-shoppers can now grab themselves a main, a snack and either a cold drink or a regular hot drink from a Costa Express Machine.
Sadly, if your local Tesco doesn’t have a Costa Express machine, you won't be able to take advantage of the new offering.
Posting on Twitter, Tesco said: “Whether you love Peperamis or plant-based sarnies, keep your Meal Deal £3 with your Clubcard or Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app, now includes Costa Coffee.”

The deal is also only valid for a limited time, between 28 February and 22 May - so make the most of it while you can.
The announcement has caused a bit of buzz with caffeine-loving Tesco shoppers.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page, one person said: “Game changer! And they have the hot food boxes too! Smashing lunchtimes out the park!”
Another wrote: “Wow Costa is virtually £3 alone.”

While someone else commented: “Oh my God. My meal deal for lunch is about to get even better.”
A fourth person wrote: “Best news ever.”
The inclusion of hot drinks comes after Tesco raised the price of its meal deals for those who don’t have a clubcard.

Tesco chief customer officer Alessandra Bellini said: "Adding our ever-popular lunchtime meal deal to Clubcard Prices is the latest way we’re rewarding our 20 million Clubcard members with exclusive deals on thousands of products.
"Clubcard Prices have already given millions of customers the power to lower the cost of their weekly shop – and all while earning points for money off their shopping or rewards like family days out at Alton Towers or a Disney+ subscription."
So as well as getting your meal deal for the usual three quid, you’ll also rack up some points on your clubcard.
