21 Savage is not one to shy away from 'the smoke' but he has seemingly come under fire after Leeds Festival goers have accused him of turning up '40 minutes late' for a '10 minute set'.
The London-born rapper, 31, who was raised in Atlanta, US, was due to perform on the main stage at 6.05pm to 6.55pm on Friday (23 August).
With day tickets and weekend tickets for both Reading and Leeds costing from £115.00 and from £325.00 respectively, hip-hop fans were buzzing to witness the Grammy-winning artist in action.

However, it seems that 21 has wound up a number of concert goers who said it was an 'absolute joke' after he was late for the show.
Not only that, they said he 'played a total of four songs' and 'slurred every song'.
Taking to X, one person wrote: "Hey, where do I stand in complaining to Leeds Festival regarding half the line up being axed and 21 Savage only doing 10 mins of a 1 hour set? The whole day was a shambles. Paid for a Friday day ticket."

In a response, the festival said: "Please follow us so we can help connect you with the team via DM. Thanks!"
Meanwhile, others are still complaining: "Can we not take the money given to 21 Savage to play Leeds Fest for literally 12 mins and give it to Friday day ticket holders as a refund for that absolute s**t show."
A third added: "That was an absolute joke, supposed to be a 50 minute set and strolled on for the last 10 or so. That slot could have been given to someone else who would have used the entire time."

Someone else said: "21 savage summed up today. 40 minutes late. Slurred every song. Played a total of 4 songs. F**ked off. Worst gig I’ve ever seen."

The allegations, of course, come as a surprise given 21's love for his homeland.
He was living in the US undocumented for 13 years and only secured legal residence there in 2023.
This meant that in 2023, he finally got to perform his first headline show in the UK at The O2 in November.

“Being back in London has brought back so many memories from my childhood—this is my journey coming full circle and how far I have come,” he said.
“To come out on stage to all of these people who have supported me through my career is what motivates me.
“Coming home was like a celebration for me and my family but the fans, too.
“The after party was all good energy, to have so many peers from UK come out and support on stage and after was the best.”
21 Savage is set to perform on the Main Stage at Reading on Sunday (August 25), from 6.40pm to 7.30pm.
