Andrew and Tristan Tate have been given back control of their assets after being allowed to leave Romania for the US.
The brothers set off on a flight from Bucharest this morning (27 February) after a travel ban imposed on them during a human trafficking investigation was lifted.
It is reported that the Trump administration pressed the Romanian government to lift the travel restrictions earlier this month.

A spokesperson for the Tate pair said they have had properties, vehicles, bank accounts and company shares returned. The statement added: "While some assets remain under precautionary seizure, this ruling marks a significant step toward justice. We remain committed to full transparency and will continue to uphold our legal rights."

Andrew and Tristan were arrested in Romania three years ago and are facing trial allegations of rape, trafficking minors and money laundering.
The country's anti-organised crime agency, DIICOT, said prosecutors had approved a 'request to modify the obligation preventing the defendants from leaving Romania'.
DIICOT added: “These include the requirement to appear before judicial authorities whenever summoned.

“The defendants have been warned that deliberately violating these obligations may result in judicial control being replaced with a stricter deprivation of liberty measure.”
