People were left wondering where their Christmas presents were after Evri failed to deliver some much needed parcels, all while sending out the same nondescript delivery photo to every disgruntled recipient.
With Christmas now being mere days away, the stress and panic of buying those last minute gifts is well and truly upon many of us... but for this one street, this stress has gone into total overdrive.
Several people on the street, located in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, were waiting for their parcels to be delivered just in time for the big day, but upon receiving the notification that they had been successfully deposited, they were greeted with the same cryptic photo.

Mum Hayley Crossland had spent £100 on her children’s Christmas presents, and has now been left with nothing to give them after the inconvenient delivery mystery.
The residents noticed that they had all received the same delivery picture after the mum had gone to see if the presents had been given to her next-door neighbours.
Talking to the Manchester Evening News, Hayley said: “The same picture appears to have been sent to everyone at the same time. My order was £100 worth of goods and presents for my child.

“It was meant to come between 1pm and 8pm and then I just got a notification on the app saying it had been delivered with proof.
“The picture was just hatchlings or fabric of some kind. I knocked on my neighbours to see if someone had taken it in and they were saying no.”
Mollie Atkinson, another person who lives on the street, said: “I've been waiting all day for my parcel and then I get an email saying it's been delivered - but it hasn't.
“Then the delivery picture is just what looks like the back of a car seat. It's happened to a lot of people.”

The picture has since been posted in a local Facebook group, which found even more people who had received the same 'confirmation', with one unhappy shopper commenting: “I've had exactly the same. Mine is a Christmas present too!”
And a second added: “I've just got the same picture as did my daughter and my neighbour. I was standing at my door when I received the notification that it had been delivered!”
The precise number of people who received the same delivery photo and status in Wythenshawe is currently unknown.

A representative from Evri told LADbible, however, that all the orders were eventually delivered.
“Our ambition is that every customer’s experience is a positive one and we’ve looked into what happened with these parcels," they said.
"The parcels were scanned as delivered in error by a new courier but have since been successfully delivered on 20th December.
"We ask that anyone who is concerned about their deliveries to get in touch via Evri’s contact page."
