A friend of missing Jay Slater has claimed he could hear the teenager 'going off road' and 'slipping down hill' in their final phone conversation.
Jay, 19, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, has been missing in Tenerife for nearly two weeks after travelling to festival on the island.
The apprentice bricklayer was last heard from on Monday 17 June when he spoke to his friend Lucy Law at around 8:50am, revealing that 'he didn't know where he was'.

It would later be revealed that Jay was walking in a mountainous region hours away from his accommodation, after travelling to an Airbnb in the area with two men the night before.
Jay's friend Brad has now revealed details about his final conversation with the teenager in an interview today (28 June) on This Morning, claiming he could hear
Jay's feet 'sliding down' a hill as they talked.

"He was on the phone walking down a road and he’d gone over a little bit - not a big drop - but a tiny little drop and he was going down, and he said ‘I’ll ring ya back, I’ll ring ya back’ because I think someone else was ringing him," Brad explained.
"If he was thinking like me, he would have gone back up and started walking on the path again… He wouldn't have gone all that way down there.
He added: "I knew he went off the road because I could hear like when you walk on gravel.. stones."
Brad went on to reveal that neither he or Jay were concerned about his location at the time, as they weren't aware that he was an 11-hour walk away.

"We were both laughing and he said, 'Look where I am' and I was like, 'I’ve just come out of a festival' and he didn’t seem concerned on the phone until we knew how far away he was.
"I said [to Jay], 'Put your location on' and he said 'a 15 minute drive or a 14 hour walk, I don't know if it's accurate or not' and I said, 'If it’s only a 15 minute drive, get a taxi'."
Brad's come after Jay's friend Lucy had also revealed details from their phone call, saying that Jay had 1% battery left, was thirsty and had cut his leg on a cactus.

Meanwhile, police in Tenerife have called on volunteers to join a large-scale search for Jay, who has now been missing for 11 days.
Confirming the update in a statement, the police said: "The Guardia Civil prepares and coordinates a large search to find the young British man missing in the village of Masca.
"The collaboration of all those volunteer associations is requested: Civil protection, firefighters, etc., and even private volunteers who are experts in the abrupt search terrain.
