Laurence Fox has apologised for the shocking comments he made towards journalist Ava Evans.
On Tuesday night (26 September), the former actor was being interviewed by Dan Wootton on GB News when he said he was disgusted by Evans' views and that he wouldn't go anywhere near her, adding that neither would any man. Watch below:
"Show me a single self-respecting man that would like to climb into bed with that woman ever...who wasn't an incel...who wasn't a cucked, little incel," Fox said of Evans, who is a female political journalist at Joe Media.

On Wednesday morning (27 September), GB News released a statement on X - formerly known as Twitter - confirming that Fox had been suspended over his comments.
"GB News has formally suspended Laurence Fox while we continue our investigation into comments he made on the channel last night," the statement reads.
"Mr Fox's suspension is effective immediately and he has been taken off air. We will be apologising formally to Ms Evans today."

Both Fox and Wootton were suspended by GB News amid an internal investigation after Ofcam received around 7,300 complaints about the episode.
Now, addressing the situation in a video posted to X, Fox said: “If I was going to be sensible and I could replay it, I would say: ‘Any self-respecting man in 2023 would probably be well advised to avoid a woman who possessed that world view because she would probably cause him nothing but harm’.
“But what I did say was, you know, ‘I wouldn’t s**g that’, and all that sort of stuff, which is not right. It’s demeaning to her, to Ava, so I’m sorry for demeaning you in that way.
“However angry I am with you still for doing that, and it demeans me because it’s not representative of who I am.”

He also said he expected to be sacked by GB News on Friday over the incident, adding: “I know I’m going to get sacked tomorrow. I’m saying this stuff to clear my own conscience.”
Wootton previously apologised 'unreservedly' for a 'very unfortunate lapse in judgment' in a follow-up post to an earlier apology, which suggested he should have apologised for what was said during the broadcast.
Evans previously said she had received an apology from the broadcaster.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, she added: “I’m deeply embarrassed by all of it and I’m very appreciative to everyone who has very kindly stood up for me.
“But it’s the other side of it. Half of the comments have been very lovely and supportive.
“But then, on the other side, they are very threatening.”
