Londoners will tell you that there's been a pink supercar parked outside one of its most extravagant hotels for four years.
Just the other day I was driving past the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel with my cousin, who told me to catch a glimpse of the bright pink McLaren 570s parked outside.
However, my cousin, who is actually from London, didn't have the foggiest idea why it was parked outside the five star hotel.
And after a quick check on social media, people were stunned to discover that the car was still there.

TikToker Gabby (@SoggySpin4ch) shared a video of the vehicle, writing: "When will this pink car move? This car has been here the whole pandemic."
"Omg yea! It hasn’t moved and I’ve been walking past here a few times over the last couple of years," one person commented.
"Wait… I walked past this like seven months ago… IT’S STILL THERE?" another questioned.
As a third said: "I literally live in Oxford and whenever I come to London see this car."

Amid the hundreds of comments, one person provided a bit of a potential insight into what could be a reasonable explanation.
They wrote: "I actually work at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, the McLaren is owned by one guest who permanently moved into the hotel near the start of the pandemic because he was having trouble getting back to his country."
Another person agreed, writing: "It’s been there since before 2018 at least, the owner lives in the hotel.

"They allow him to park it there since it looks good."
Now, a member of staff may have confirmed this theory, telling Metro, over the phone, that the car is driven from 'time to time'.
"It belongs to a man who is renting one of the apartments upstairs," they said.

"He has been living there for a number of years, we’re not sure who he is.
"Every time we walk past it I just think what a car, and how lucky he must be to drive it.
"He does go out in it from time to time."
Despite the claims, they remain unverified as the ID of the owner, or where they are from, is yet to be revealed.

According to True Car, a used version of the sports car ranges from $119,998 (£94,450.43) to $179,995 (£141,674.06).
