A Channel 4 documentary Russell Brand: In Plain Sight was broadcast yesterday (16 September) featuring the accounts of the women who have accused Brand.
The 48-year-old denied the allegations ahead of the documentary being broadcast and the publication of an article detailing the claims in The Times.
The accusations focus on a period between 2006 and 2013, and one of the women accusing Brand says she was 16 and he was 31 at the time that the allegations she has made occurred.

Another woman said she was sexually assaulted by Brand and threatened with legal action if she said anything, while other accusers have claimed that Brand was emotionally and physically abusive towards them.
One woman accused Brand of raping her at his Los Angeles home, with the Dispatches documentary showing text messages between them where she allegedly told him 'When a girl say[s] NO it means no', and Brand responded by writing that he was 'very sorry'.
The Times has said that their investigation has taken years which has seen them view emails, text messages and medical documents.
In a statement the Metropolitan Police said: "We are aware of media reporting of a series of allegations of sexual assault.

"At this time, we have not received any reports in relation to this. If anyone believes they have been the victim of a sexual assault, no matter how long ago it happened, we would encourage them to contact police."
A former partner of Brand's recently took to social media to speak out after being contacted by the investigation.
Rhian Sugden is a model who briefly dated Brand and she took to X to comment.

She wrote: "I had reporters and Dispatches knocking on my parents door months back asking for information on Russell Brand as we briefly dated when I was younger.
"He was always very pleasant to me and treated me well."
"Despite him attempting to s**g his way through other page 3 girls and getting declined he soon went full circle and joined a ‘No More Page 3 campaign’ to get us shut down.
"I can’t comment on the allegations that have been made against him, I’ve no scoop on the fella except his hair used to smell bad and he definitely wasn’t the one that got away."
