Theme park Sundown Adventureland has been voted one of the best amusement and water parks in Europe.
Already at a loss of what to do you with your children as you're lumped with them every day now they've broken up for the summer holidays?
Fear not, because there's a little-known theme park 'designed for the under 10's' which will keep your kid's mind occupied without breaking the bank.

It looks so fun I almost wish I had an under 10-year-old so I have an excuse to go.
Sundown Adventureland Theme Park is located in Nottinghamshire on the Yorkshire border.
The theme park is open from 10am until 5:00pm making it the perfect option for a day out to knacker the kids and there's a whole host of things to do - including 10 different rides, a whopping 12 attractions and eight play areas - your child certainly won't get bored.

Rides include a Robin Hood themed one, a WILD Ostrich Safari ride, a 'Jolly Pirate Boat Ride' and so much more.
And there's a play area for everyone too, even the under 5's, making sure every member of the family is included.
According to its website, on 'Blue calendar' off-peak days, children under 90cm tall go free, and the price of a day ticket for anyone over 90cm or for an adult is an affordable £19.00. You can also get special family bundle tickets.

On general admission days, adults or anyone over 90cm, pays £22.00 but those under 90cm are still free.
You can also stay at the park if you want to continue the fun and make a proper holiday out of it. Sundown Adventureland offers free park tickets for all bookings made in 2023 if you stay at it's Wild Acre Village, which is a pretty good deal if you ask me.
The theme park has an impressive score of 4.5 out of five on Tripadvisor and has even been named one of the best amusement and water parks in Europe by the travel comparison site.

It's also been shortlisted in three different categories in the UK Theme Park Awards and it's reviews certainly prove why.
One Tripadvisor user said: "I used to come here when I was a child with my grandparents and now visiting with my own children it’s absolutely magical I can’t put into words how amazing this place is for small children it has everything you could want."
"I never leave a review for anything ever but just had to on this occasion. Can’t explain what a magical place this was for my toddler. He’s 2 and a half and I’ve ever known a place so perfectly aimed at his age group. There wasn’t one ride or attraction that was too old for him or too scary etc. it’s literally Disneyland but for toddlers. we stayed in wildacre village too and my little one was so happy and excited with the set up the entire time," another added.

The theme park even has a stamp of approval from TikToker 'Cheap Travel Mum'.
She said: "If you're looking for a fun, bizarre, day out for your under 10s, then you must check out Sundown Adventureland.
"There are lots of really fun and unique areas for the little ones to explore, and there's this huge soft play with an area for the babies and a place to get a coffee."
