If you’re struggling for places to entertain the whole family, then the fifth best theme park in the world is right on your doorstep.
It’s weird to think that the UK could hold such a title, but it’s true.
The Milky Way Adventure Park ranked ahead of renowned parks like Disneyland Paris, Thorpe Park and Alton Towers in TripAdvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice Theme Park And Water Park Awards.

As a family-owned park, it’s located a few miles from Devon’s border with Cornwall, and will blow your mid with rides such as the Cosmic Typhoon coaster and the Droid Destroyer Dodgems.
Situated in Clovelly, North Devon, the amusement park also caters to the littlest of kiddies with fun rids like the Cosmic Caterpillar, the Milky Way train and a soft play centre.
But the best thing about the park? It’s budget-friendly entry fees.

In light of its popularity, Tara Stanbury, the park’s manager, said its family-focused attitude is the main reason visitors keep coming back.
Stanbury told The Sun Online: "We have guests who return regularly with their children and it’s great to see them growing older and getting excited about being able to finally ride the bigger coasters – for some of them it’s the highlight of their year."
The park manager explained that the amusement park is a family attraction and not a hotspot for thrill seekers looking to get an adrenaline fix.
She added: "We can’t control who TripAdvisor compares us to and we’re incredibly proud for our staff because they do really care and that’s one of the reasons, we are different.
