Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel break silence over photos with newborn baby

Speculation about the sisters supposedly becoming mums has been rife since the snaps emerged

Abby and Brittany Hensel have now broken their silence weeks after the conjoined twins were pictured carrying a newborn baby.

Snaps of the former reality TV stars roaming around with a tot in tow first began circulating last month, sparking speculation that they may have welcomed a child.

The pair, both 35, were pictured with the infant in a car park in Arden Hills, Minnesota, three weeks ago.

Photos obtained by TMZ captured the sisters loading the baby into the car on 14 August, although no one had any idea who the little one belonged to.

Given that Abby and Brittany seriously value their privacy and prefer to stay under the radar, the idea of them secretly starting a family isn't that far-fetched in the eyes of fans.

On top of this, Abby is already a stepmother to her husband Joshua Bowling's daughter from a previous relationship.

She married the US Army veteran in 2021, but kept the news quiet for three whole years, so we know that the twins can certainly keep a secret.

The conjoined twins, who'd previously revealed how their bodies are connected, discussed why they prefer to lead a private life at the height of their fame in 2012 while starring on their TLC reality TV show.

Brittany said: "The whole world doesn’t need to know who we are seeing, what we are doing and when we are going to do it. But believe me, we are totally different people."

Her sister Abby then added: "Yeah, we are going to be mums one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it’s going to work yet."

So, it's no surprise that social media users went wild when the images of them carrying a baby in a car seat emerged.

And now, Abby and Brittany have finally broken their silence on the rumours that they have become parents with a bizarre TikTok post.

The pair made a slide show of the various paparazzi shots showing them with the baby, which was accompanied by a questionable choice of music.

A mash-up of Dr Dre's 1992 track 'Nuthin' but a G Thang' and Eminem's 2002 hit 'Without Me' played in the background of the video.

However, it was the caption of Abby and Brittany's post which caused the most confusion, as fans have been left with more questions than answers.

It read: "Blessed #abbyandbrittany #twins #abbyandbrittanyhensel #sisterhood #respect."

Social media users seemed to struggle to decipher the cryptic message, as it didn't exactly clear up the speculation about whether the baby belongs to them or not.

One person commented: "I have so many questions," as another asked: "Is this their child? Or babysitting?"

A third added: "Well, one things for sure if this is their little baby, he or she is gonna gets lots of kisses. I don't see why they shouldn't have a child, doesn't matter if baby is adopted or by surrogacy as long as baby is well loved and cared for that's all that matters...good luck to them."
