You can see a lot of strange things on livestreams, however it's not the first place you'd turn in a missing person's case.
However, this is exactly what happened to Twitch user FaZe Lacy when he found himself unexpectedly solving a missing person's case on a livestream.
The content creator was broadcasting himself live in Miami when a young man in bright green shorts walked past him and a friend while they were dining al fresco.

Who was the man in question? Well, it's been claimed it was missing Michigan teenager Troy Coleman.
In the clip, the man approaches Lacy and his friend Clix and chats to the pair before heading on his way, in what was seemingly a normal interaction.
Lacy didn't think anything further of the conversation until he logged onto his emails later and discovered a man claiming to be the brother of Troy had gotten in contact with him, saying he believed the man in the video to be his missing brother.

The streamer has now responded to the case, sharing the email he received from the man, who says his name is Trent Coleman, alongside his response to the interaction on social media.
"3 months ago a 17 year old kid went missing and was put on homicide," Lacy wrote on X.
"Yesterday on stream he came up to me and Clix and now his family knows he is alive and in Miami. I wasn’t sure if I should make this public but I'm hoping somehow this helps him be found for his family."
The post also showed the original email from Trent, where he revealed that his 17-year-old brother suffered from schizophrenia and had vanished from the family home in Flint, Michigan.
It's unclear what the phrase 'was put on homicide' mentioned by Trent means in regards to Troy's disappearance, however Lacy told a follower he believed it meant that the family had believed the teenager to be deceased.

"I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it means they thought he was dead but now his family knows he’s alive," Lacy replied, adding: "[The] power of the internet is wild."
Troy was last reported to be have been spotted in Mt. Morris Township, Michigan, on 17 May, with his father Weston later reporting his disappearance to the local authorities.
In an interview with Townsquare Media, Weston explained that his son is not armed and does not pose a danger to the general public. However he has previously 'suffered from hallucinations' and is in need of his 'vital medication' which he does not have with him.
