There's nothing quite like a break-up haircut, except for maybe this woman's break-up haircut.
Marissa Pool, 29, experienced the ultimate glow-up, after she ditched her 'Karen haircut' for something far more age appropriate.
Pool found herself dressing like a woman decades older than she actually was because she thought she had to dress in a certain way to be a good mother.

But in a makeover that deserves its own movie montage, the Pennsylvanian woman now looks like her past self could have been her actual mother.
She revealed she decided to start dressing for herself when she and her husband split.
"My mental health was at an all time low," the mum of two said.

"I got wrapped up playing a role of what was expected of me as a wife and mother and wasn't prioritising how I looked or any aspect of my life.
"I met my ex when I was just 17 ... [and] I lost myself for a while like a lot of women do."
With her newfound freedom, Pool started to dress and style herself more in line with her interests: her love of rock music.
She dumped the ‘Karen cut’ (a divorce that needed to happen, honestly) and tried a new 'do with youthful makeup that she’d never entertained before.

She found it was a look that served... so she went out and got nine tattoos, including one of her favourite band’s logo – Bring Me The Horizon – on her chest.
She's gone from 'parent-teacher night pest Karen' to a bombshell babe with only a few style tweaks.
Honestly, this is a glow up for the history books.

As well as looking great on the outside, she feels far better on the inside, too.
"Now I feel like I can be myself, I'm so much happier and more confident," the American woman revealed.
"People tell me I look like Megan Fox all the time and it’s honestly so flattering.
"I’m not sure I see it myself but I’ve always admired her and it’s very humbling!"

She also wants to send a message to other mums to take a bit of time each day to do something for themselves.
"I now spend half an hour every day getting ready and doing my makeup," she said.
"When you feel good about yourself, only then can you be the best version of yourself.
"I feel like a completely different person, I'm confident, I feel good and I feel like me."
You do you, Marissa. Because it is working a damn treat, if you ask us.
