A woman managed to save herself a massive amount of money by flying to Italy, where she spent several hours sightseeing, eating pizza and drinking wine.
That all sounds lovely but you might be wondering how you're supposed to do those things and it be a way to save money.
29-year-old Katie Nolan had been over in Malta visiting her boyfriend when she was presented with a particularly delightful opportunity, thanks to the weirdly disparate prices on cheap flights.

She was heading from the Mediterranean island back to her home in Ireland when she realised she could save loads of money and have a wonderful day trip to Italy as well.
Katie explained that the direct flight from Malta to Ireland would have cost her more than €250 (£214), but a flight from Malta to Italy only cost 'a tenner', and then the flight from Italy to Ireland only amounted to '20 quid'.
She'd always wanted to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the chance to spend a few hours enjoying the Italian city, while scoffing pizza and quaffing wine really couldn't be passed up, especially for such a saving on travel.

In Katie's words, 'I couldn't not', and it's really not hard to see why she made the decision she did, since the cheaper option was just so much better and cheaper than having a night out in Dublin.
"It was cheaper to fly indirect to get to Ireland, as I’ve done this a few times via the UK from Spain to Ireland," she said of her savvy travel plans.
"It was cheaper than going to Dublin for the day, as in the last few weeks, Dublin is in the top ten most expensive cities in Europe."
In total, her bill for the day trip when the price of travel, food, drink and a couple of fridge magnets she picked up was all put together, came out to £52.39.

That's a massive saving compared to what she'd have had to fork over for just the flight from Malta to Dublin alone, and she even made it into work the next day absolutely fine as well.
If you can sort out cheap flights, it's impressive how much you can do with a few quid, as there have been other bargain hunting travellers who've done similar things.
One guy flew to Italy and bought pizza for a bargain price, managing to fly from the UK to Milan and buy pizza for just £17.72.
