A woman who showers once a week says her husband doesn't mind it, although her explanation isn't the most convincing. Watch below:
The TikToker, who goes by the hanle @reindrrop, went viral for revealing to the world that she only showers once a week and the internet were quite simply flabbergasted.

Well, the TikToker previously gave four reasons as to why she showers, just once a week.
She said: "I get the question, why? And I stick by my original answer to this comment. I just don't like it. But I figured I could try to provide a little more insight into why I don't like it. Reason one, the time commitment from warming the water up, getting into the shower, doing all of the necessary shower things, to getting out of the shower, to drying, to waiting for my hair to dry.
"Reason two, wet hair. I hate the feeling of wet hair and no I can't do the hair dryers because I hate the sound of the hair dryer.

"Reason three, skin issues. Since I started showering less and, keep in mind, I was never an everyday showerer since like middle school maybe.
"Anyway my eczema, my dry scalp. All my skin is [sic] better and reason four, it's not wasteful both with water and products."
And when asked if her husband minds her not showering very often, her reply was: "My whole husband. No, I mean like does he mind it enough to get the government involved to separate us. I hope not."

And as for what everyone else things? Well, some were in support of her 'unconventional' approach to bathing.
One wrote: "Good for you! People in the comments acting like people don’t have sensory issues and stuff, not everyone’s norm is the same."
However, other users, some of who shower twice a day, were gobsmacked by her cleaning policy.
Someone commented: "So you have the time to commit to a whole workout but not a quick 3-5 minute shower? That’s crazy."

A second person asked: "What about on your period? (No shame jw)," while another wrote: "And this woman is married. Yet I’m over here taking a shower twice a day & single for 5 years."
Well, if we take some expert advice on the topic, Dr Sarah Welsh, gynaecology doctor and co-founder at HANX, told the Independent,: "From a medical perspective, unless you are visibly dirty or sweaty, you probably don't need to shower more than three times a week.
"The factors that impact your need to wash include your occupation (if you're doing manual labour or working with patients) and your social and exercise habits.

"Generally, it's important to especially wash your feet, armpits and groin, as these areas are prone to becoming infected if not kept fresh. And even without Covid, you should ensure you wash your hands regularly."
