A Tenerife local claims Brit Jay Slater was spotted 'walking on his own' just before he went missing this week.
The 19-year-old from Lancashire went travelling out in Tenerife with his friends earlier this month.
After attending the New Rave Generation festival, he decided to stay out with a group of people he had just met on Sunday (16 June) evening.

On Monday (17 June) morning, he called his friend and told them he was in the middle of a mountainous area having missed a bus back to the resort, with an 11-hour walk ahead.
Jay's friend, Lucy Law, told Sky News that he had 'cut his leg on a cactus and had no idea where he was' and that his phone was on one percent battery.
Lucy claims Jay had gone to stay with people he met on Sunday night who were renting a holiday home apartment that was 'miles away from civilisation and in a very secluded location'.

She says that the teen left the apartment at 8.00am on Monday before ringing her.
Tenerife local Araceli has since told the Mirror that police have spoken to both of the men he was with.
She said: "I never saw the missing boy, but I know people saw him walking on his own.

"I saw the two British men who stayed here.
"They came in for cafe con leche a couple of times.
"One was aged about 40.
"The other one was slightly younger.

"The police have spoken to them both [the British men].
"They arrived on Saturday and were due to stay until Monday, but they left on Tuesday."
His stepfather Andy has recalled the horrifying moment when police knocked on his mum's door, in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire.

"It was about 2.30am in the early hours," the 63-year-old told LancsLive.
"When the police said 'the best thing you can do is get yourself out there' we knew it was bad.
"This was his first holiday on his own. I'm just hoping he's gone to another party.
"She said she'll make contact with the consular office and then ring me but I've not heard anything yet."
A Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has been reported missing in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”
