A budget airline has a fleet of planes with no middle seat, meaning that you’ll alway bag yourself a window or an aisle seat.
Genius, eh?
With its limited leg room and ongoing debate about exactly who is entitled to use the arm rests, it’s safe to say that the middle seat isn’t anyone’s first choice when it comes to air travel.
And so, in an attempt to combat that and give economy flying a more luxury-feel, one airline has dispensed with the middle seat entirely.

Canada’s Porter Airlines flies to numerous destinations across North America and Canada, including New York, Miami, Boston, Ontario and Quebec - and recently announced new routes to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The airline’s website explains: “Choose either window or aisle when you fly Porter! Our planes have no middle seats, so you'll never get stuck in the middle and never wonder where to rest your elbows.”
Clever, eh?
But not only that, the airline also offers a bunch of other features including a complimentary drink and some snacks.

“When you fly Porter, you'll get to experience our elevated all-economy service,” the airline’s site continues.
“We'll greet you with a warm welcome and get you where you're going in comfort and style, with complimentary beer, wine and premium snacks for all our passengers and our customary two-by-two seating on every flight. On Porter, all-economy means every passenger is our priority.”
And if you still find that you don’t have quite enough leg room, you can upgrade to a more spacious seat.

Michael Deluce, president and CEO, Porter Airlines said in December last year: "Porter is meaningfully investing in making economy air travel enjoyable for every passenger in ways that no one else is.
"Other airlines have been focused on taking away perks and comforts for decades, but we believe that people should actually enjoy flying as economy passengers. It is possible, as we know from having already redefined regional travel over 16 years ago.
“Now we're ready to do it for a broader North American market in a way that no traditional or low cost carrier is willing to. It's an enhanced experience that builds on our reputation for providing an elevated level of service to every passenger at reasonable prices in a single class of service."
