A new documentary exploring the life of former rugby player Rob Burrow following his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) has shown the impact the condition has had on his life.
Lindsey and Rob: Living with MND is an upcoming documentary from ITV's Tonight team which will look at their home life four years on from Burrow's 2019 diagnosis.
According to the Daily Mirror, the documentary shows the work wife Lindsey puts in as she carries her husband of 17 years to wherever he needs to be without help from carers or equipment.

It reports that she carries her husband from his bed to his chair and to other locations as she told them she has 'nothing to moan about' when it comes to caring for her husband.
She told the Mirror: "While I’m physically able, I will continue to do that for Rob, and I know he’d do the same for me.

"We haven’t really discussed the option of carers. We don’t want stairlifts, hoists and things, for me it can become quite clinical.
"You just want to do what you can, while you can, for as long as you can.
"He’s my husband, I want to care for him. You say those vows, in sickness and in health, that’s what you want to do.
"He’ll often say, ‘Thank you for looking after me, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you doing these things’. I know how grateful he is."

The former rugby star was last month carried over the finish line at the first ever Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon by friend Kevin Sinfield.
Sinfield had pushed him in a wheelchair for the majority of the race but as they got to within a few steps of the finish line Burrow was lifted out of his chair and carried over the line.
"It felt fantastic to be part of a team again with my mate Kevin as our captain," Burrow said of the ending to the marathon which raised money for charity.

"Kevin joked that he didn't want me to beat him by crossing the line (in my chair) first. I think he knew I had a cunning plan to claim that I finished before him.
"I want him to know that I have a plan to beat him next year."
Sinfield had previously completed a series of incredible athletic feats to raise money for charity on Burrow's behalf.
Lindsey and Rob: Living with MND will be shown on ITV 1 at 8:30pm on Thursday, 8 June.
