Slow-mo footage of Tyson Fury’s KO uppercut reveals just how brutal his 'deadly' final strike was, amid the inevitable claims among some fans that the fight was staged.
The Gypsy King retained his WBC heavyweight title with a devastating sixth-round knockout last night (23 April) as a crowd of 94,000 watched on at Wembley Stadium.
Inevitably, some people believed the clash was an 'embarrassing staged show', with some saying Dillian Whyte took a dive as Fury pushed him down.

But a clip shared on Twitter shows the moment in slow motion, with the camera flipped – as is evident from Fury’s name appearing backwards on his shorts - with many saying it's a 'clear' indicator of how the fight really ended.
Sharing the footage on Twitter, one person wrote: “I think the uppercut looks clear here...”
Another agreed: “This angle really shows how deadly the upper cut actually was.”

Someone else said: “Beat angle I’ve seen so far… that s**t was vicious…”
A fourth said it was a ‘mean a** uppercut’, while a fifth added: “Bro got caught nasty, he was out on impact no lie.”
In his post-fight interview, Fury responded to previous statements he'd made about hanging up his boxing gloves after a glittering career.
"You know I promised my lovely wife Paris of 14 years that after the Wilder three fight that would be it and I meant it. It was a great trilogy but I meant that," he said.
"I got offered to fight at Wembley at home and I believe I owed it to the fans, I owed it to every person in the United Kingdom to come here and fight at Wembley.

"And now it's all done, I have to be a man of my word and I think this is it, this might be the final curtain for the Gypsy King. And what a way to go out."
Fury's wife Paris also told BT Sport: "I would like him to come out now. He has nothing more to prove. If he had anything left to do, I would say 'Yeah Tyson, you do it'. But he has nothing to prove.
"For Tyson to keep boxing, it just seems for one reason and I know in my heart, I think the only reason that Tyson will come back is for the unification fight."
But while it sounds like Fury's making his exit, many viewers took to Twitter after his speech to say they don't think this is the end.

Someone else wrote: "Tyson Fury is 100% not retiring. Especially with all the unfinished business with Anthony Joshua.”
