A man in the US has been praised for his touching gesture to a delivery driver after his order ended up 1,000 miles away.
Truck driver Shahid Davis spent $20 on lunch last Sunday (27 February), ordering a plant-based taco and burrito boat from fast food chain Chipotle.

But it was only as the 29-year-old tracked his meal that he realised it was sitting 930 miles away.
You see, Shahid has recently moved from Des Moines, Iowa, to Hagerstown, Maryland - and he hadn't updated his delivery details.
However, while this could have been a moment of hungry dismay, it ended up being rather heart-warming.
Feeling guilty for wasting the driver's time, Shahid messaged him telling him to 'enjoy the lunch'.

The delighted delivery driver thanked him on text, poignantly revealing that it was his late brother's birthday and due to his kindness, he was going to have lunch where he is laid to rest 'because of you'.
Shahid recalled: "I was getting hungry and [looked on the app] to see how far he is, so I didn't miss him.
"But when I looked it showed me he was all the way in Iowa. I thought 'oh man, I forgot that the last time I used my Chipotle app was out there'.

"Seeing he was going to the wrong address, I messaged the support team on the Chipotle app to see what I could do about it. They said once the order is placed, there's nothing I can really do about it.
"So I told the guy 'hey, you can just have it for lunch, enjoy it', because it's just $20. It's not a big deal to me.
"He took time out of his day to take my order and go all the way to the delivery place, so I felt bad, because I felt like I wasted his time. Then I messaged him that lunch was on me."
The grateful driver's reply was then more meaningful than Shahid could ever have expected.

"I'm having lunch with him today because of you. You have no idea how much that truly means to me. I truly appreciate it."
Shahid shared the exchange on Facebook, where it went viral, amassing more than 333,000 likes.
