A TikTokker who has been charting his hair transplant journey – and had to undergo a month-long sex ban to protect it – has revealed his results.
Cathair Curran, known as Kegs, started losing his hair aged 19 and feared that over-styling his hairdo could be causing his baldness to accelerate.

To cover up any bald spots he began to use a root touch-up spray, but that left him fearing the rain that could wash away the spray and leave him back at square one.
Kegs was then contacted by hair replacement company Novo Cabelo, who offered him a hairpiece he could use.
However, this wasn't a permanent solution and Kegs ultimately plucked up the courage to take the plunge and go in for a full-on hair transplant.
He's been documenting the process with a series of videos, which followed him going to Turkey for the transplant and have picked up with the growth of his new hairdo.

One of the rules of getting the transplant was a month-long sex ban to avoid dislodging the new follicles, also on the banned list were drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising and getting into pools.
That first 30 days is long gone now and Kegs has been showing off his full head of hair four months on from his transplant.
While he still has another few months to go before he's fully finished with the process, he thinks his new hairdo is 'looking class'.

The hair growth has kicked in at this point, though it could take a year or even up to 18 months for the transplanted hair to fully grow.
Kegs joins a whole host of famous figures who have decided to get a hair transplant and keep the top of their head adorned with luscious locks of hair.
The likes of footballer Wayne Rooney and comedian Jimmy Carr are some of the better known Brits who have noticeably gone in for work on their hairline.

Many other famous figures have had work on on their hair to ward off a receding hairline or even the dreaded plague of baldness that afflicts many men as they get older.
Actor James Nesbitt told the BBC in 2017 that a series of hair transplants helped his career, giving him more confidence and opening the door for more roles.
Unfortunately for those forking over large sums of money for hair transplants, they don't always last very long. Football manager Antonio Conte is one of many who has had to go in for several procedures before getting the thick head of hair he has today.
Shoddy treatment, poor aftercare and getting a hair transplant before baldness has run its course are all major reasons why transplanted hair may not stick around forever.
