There are many situations one does not want to find oneself in, and being stuck in the highest cable car in the world is one of them.
But that's exactly what happened to one very unfortunate lad and a group of tourists.
A man going by the name @fully-fledged on TikTok recently shared a trip he had while travelling through Vietnam.

The Aussie backpacker was travelling on Fansipan mountain in the northern part of the country when he came into a bit of bother.
In a video posted to his account, @fully-fledged can be seen sitting in a packed cable car that appears to have come to an abrupt halt.
Explaining the situation, he says: "We are in the highest cable car in the world and we are now stuck… 3,000 metres above sea level."

He then turns to the rest of the crowd in the car and says: "Should we panic? Are you panicking?"
One person who is certainly not worried about the situation is @fully-fledged, who then jokes: "It's a good way to go, don't you think?"
To which the rest of the group responds with an overwhelming 'no'.
As the hours trickle by, the tourist gives several updates as to their predicament, explaining that it's taking a long time to get back down.

But he continues to try and keep the mood light, joking: "Do we have food? We need to assess a survival plan and ration it out.
"Well, this is not a bad place to die but I think I've found the group that I would never want to be stuck in a cable car with."
As the clip goes on, he notes that it's starting to get a bit hot in the cable car but other passengers shouted at him when he tried to open a window.

"We've got other people in here who are panicking... it's getting quite hot, I tried to help them out by opening the windows and they swore at me. Freaking hell," he laughed.
Eventually, however, they manage to get back down to Earth, with the cable car edging back along the cable.
“What an experience," he says.
Down at the bottom, staff then apologise for the inconvenience and the tourists set off on their way.

Since the footage was posted, it's been viewed over 500,000 times, with plenty piling into the comments to hare their thoughts.
"People stuck under the ocean, people stuck in the sky," said one user. "This is my sign to stay firmly on the ground."
I wholeheartedly agree.
