Ashton Kutcher's coffee habit has prompted people to dig out the vomit emoji, but the actor has insisted that no matter how weird it might be, it does have its benefits.
I'm just going to come right out and say it: I'm not a coffee fan. I love the smell, but the multiple taste tests and copious amounts of milk and flavouring I'd have to add to try and make it bearable just don't seem worth it to me.
But if coffee itself wasn't enough to prevent me from drinking it, then the thought of Kutcher's added ingredient certainly would:
The actor made his admission about his coffee habits during a Valentine's Day appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where the pair talked about obsessions.

With the help of a 'magical' button, Clarkson honed in on Kutcher's coffee obsession; one which she immediately suggested he might be 'alone' on.
Forget milk, sugar or vanilla syrup, because Kutcher likes to throw a bit of orange juice in there.
Just like toothpaste and orange juice, combining the two different drinks just sounds like something you should never do.

Yet the actor, who is currently promoting his new Netflix movie, Your Place Or Mine, insisted people hear him out on the pairing.
Kutcher explained that coffee and orange juice isn't his usual order, saying his 'go-to' is actually black coffee.
His preference is light roast coffee; a variety that has 'citrus notes' in it and which carries an acidity which gives the drink its 'brightness', rather than a 'burnt' sense.
With that in mind, Kutcher explained: "If I ever have a medium roast coffee, and I'm like 'oh I really would prefer this be a little bit more light roast', I take just a splash - not very much - a splash of orange juice, and it brightens up the coffee and gives it a little bit of sweetness."

In spite of how bizarre it sounded at first, Clarkson appeared to be won over by Kutcher's explanation as she said she'd try the combination.
However, the actor warned her not to 'go overboard' with the orange juice, or risk it getting 'all sorts of not fun'.
There's obviously a fine line between good and gross for Kutcher, and it actually seems like he wasn't alone in his preference, after all.

Following his appearance on the show, one viewer commented to say their friends thought they were 'crazy' for drinking the same combination.
So - if you're a coffee drinker - maybe it's time to give it a go? If you're not though, it's probably just best to stay away. If a milky coffee doesn't do it for you, I can't imagine orange juice will be the thing to win you over.
