Filmgoers have taken to Reddit to share their surprise at recognising the bouncer twins in The Batman.
Credited as 'The Twins', real-life twins Max and Charlie Carver previously played Preston and Porter Scavo on Desperate Housewives.
The Carvers took over the roles from Shane and Brent Kinsman in season five, playing the characters from 2008 to 2012.

The 33-year-old twins also appeared as werewolf twins Ethan and Aiden in MTV's hit series Teen Wolf - although neither have yet announced if they will be appearing in the upcoming film sequel. Aiden's death in the TV series makes Max's return less likely.
Talking to Comicbook.com, the twins said it felt like Christmas Eve when they got the call saying that would be appearing in The Batman.
Max said: "We went into [the auditions] like well we might as well go for it, right? And then we got the call and both just went oh s***."
Many actors have talked about having to keep exciting casting news secret, even from people close to them. The Carvers say they were particularly lucky in this case as they had each other to talk to about this news.

Speaking about working with star of the film Robert Pattinson, the twins say that when he was in character they were 'legitimately scared' of Pattinson.
Max said: "We did stunt rehearsals for all kinds of fighting techniques.
"The thing that surprised me most was when we got to meet Rob as Batman, he was a thousand times more violent and faster.

"We'd been working with these stunt guys like crazy and he was ferocious."
Charlie went on to add that when out of character Pattinson was 'the nicest guy ever'.
The twin bodyguards played by the Carvers are associates of the villainous Penguin (Colin Farrell).
The twins say it was quite exciting working as part of a crime ring, and that they are excited for fans to see the underworld of Gotham in The Batman.
