During an appearance on Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams On Tour last year, which sees the England ace mentoring cricket hopefuls from his home town of Preston, Flintoff was asked by one of the kids if he was now 'feeling one hundred percent'.
And his response was heartbreaking.
"Not really...I don't know if I ever will again, to be honest," he responded, adding: "I don't know what 'completely better' is. I am what I am now.
"It's something I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life. So better? No. Different."

Elsewhere in the documentary, Flintoff admitted to struggling with 'anxiety, nightmares and flashbacks' after the crash but was determined to push through.
He said: “I’m struggling with my anxiety, I have nightmares, I have flashbacks, it’s been so hard to cope.
"But I’m thinking if I don’t do something, I’ll never go. I’ve got to get on with it.”
He admitted he 'genuinely should not be here', adding: "This will be a long road back."
The incident was the second crash which Flintoff was involved in during his tenure presenting Top Gear, with the presenter crashing head on into a market stall while filming in February 2019.
