After revealing the two had lived separately for the past seven years in October, the actor recently sat down with Daily Mail to discuss where she stands with Will today.
“After all those years trying to figure out if I would leave Will’s side, it took that slap for me to see I will never leave him,” she told the outlet.

The 52-year-old went on to label the infamous moment as the ‘holy slap’, adding that she was 'glad' she attended the Oscars to witness her husband fiercely defending her onstage.

“That moment of the s**t hitting the fan is when you see where you really are.”
Her remarks come after the release of her bombshell memoir, Worthy, in which she detailed the tumultuous relationship with Will.
During her book's promotional tour, Jada told Today’s Hoda Kobt that she and Will had been living separately for quite some time.
However, following the interview, Jada returned to the show to clarify her comments about their relationship status.
“We are working very hard at bringing our relationship, yes, bringing our relationship back together... back to a life partnership, yes,” she revealed.

“Husband-wife marriage for me, for my healing process. I came into that with very specific ideas, right?
"Very specific ideas that were blocks. To me just seeing Will to who he is. He can’t be this perfect idealised husband.
“I have to be able to accept him for the human he is. He accepts me for the human that I am, and we want to love each other there.
"We really have been working hard.”
