In case it has somehow escaped your gaze, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have split up.
While you might have been distracted by lesser concerns in the world such as war, disease and the perils of the financial squeeze, you missed the real news going on.
The celebrity couple, who first met on Love Island back in 2019, announced they were splitting up earlier this month.
Writing on her Instagram Stories, Molly-Mae said: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this.

"After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
"I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.
"I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.
"I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years.

"You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all.
"Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I'll be back when it feels right.
"Molly-Mae x."

In his own statement, Fury said: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship.
The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.
"Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time."
With their relationship over, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul was naturally on hand to insert himself into the situation.

Fury and Paul have been rivals in the boxing ring, with the Brit previously coming out on top in their bout.
Now, spying an opportunity to needle the man who'd beat him, Paul has talked about offering Molly-Mae a job as an ambassador for his 'W' line of men's health products.
Paul, who has previously said he'd 'wipe the floor' with Fury in a rematch, did say that he was hoping the former couple could sort out what would happen with them and their daughter, but if Molly-Mae ever needs a job, then she might have an offer on the table.

He said: "It's not a bad idea, Molly-Mae - we're going to bring you in on W.
"I just hope they're figuring it out and figuring it out with the kid and stuff like that. "But I'm still going to beat his ass as a single father."
