Hollywood couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly heading for divorce.
The pair - dubbed 'Bennifer' by fans and the media - tied the knot in Las Vegas two years ago, nearly two decades after calling off their original engagement back in 2004.
However, it would appear that things are over for Bennifer once again after the BBC obtained a copy of a court documents revealing that Lopez, 55, had filed for divorce from the Good Will Hunting actor, 52.

According to a report from TMZ, the papers were filed in L.A. County Superior Court by Lopez herself.
The documents state the date of the couple's separation as 26 April, 2024 and do not state whether or not the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place, the BBC reports.
Affleck and Lopez, commonly referred to as J.Lo, had originally begun dating all the way back in the early 2000s after first meeting on set of 2001 rom-com Gigli.

The pair go on to get engaged in 2002, the same year Affleck made a cameo in the music video for Lopez's 'Jenny from the Block'.
However the pair would later call off their romance in January 2004.
17 years would pass before romance rumours involving the pair began to circulate once again after Lopez and Affleck had both moved on and had children with their respective partners, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Garner.
In April 2021, the pair would be spotted together once again following their breakups with Anthony and Garner, with a second engagement following a year later.

They would later tie the knot with a quick ceremony in Las Vegas before going on to have a second wedding in Savannah, Georgia.
Reports of an estrangement between Affleck and Lopez have been doing the rounds since May this year, with both actors spotted out and about without their wedding rings.
The Daredevil star was also reported to have been absent from Lopez's 55th birthday, with his filming schedule for The Accountant 2 being cited as the reason at the time, according to People.

Speculation about their marital status would only continue after the former couple listed their $60 million dollar California home for sale in July.
Lopez was even directly quizzed about the divorce rumours back in May during an awkward interaction at a press conference for her film Atlas in Mexico City.
The journalist's question was swiftly shut down by her co-star Simu Liu, who said: "Ok, we're not doing that. Don't come in with that energy, please," while Lopez added: "You know better than that."
