Kaley Cuoco has told how she ended up in quite the hairy situation while blasting her tresses with a blow-dryer in a New York hotel room in the buff.
The Big Bang Theory star, 38, was getting ready for her appearance on a US chat show when she had an extremely awkward encounter with a mystery man while she was completely starkers.
She was appearing on Late Night With Seth Meyers to chat to the talk show host about the second season of thriller series Based on a True Story, which she stars in and executive produces.

And funnily enough, she had an anecdote to share which was inspired by real-life events that she had experienced just a couple of hours before arriving for the interview.

Cuoco shared the details of what happened in her hotel room as soon as she sat down with Meyers on Wednesday (27 November) after the host asked her how she was finding her trip to the Big Apple.

Although she said she'd had an 'amazing week', the actor admitted there had been one fly in the ointment.
"I had a very weird thing happen to me two hours ago," the Flight Attendant star said. "This is crazy."
She explained she had not intended to tell anyone about what happened, but 'immediately got PTSD' when the glam team turned the hair dryer on backstage.
The star added: "I put this out of my mind...then the dryer came on, I'm like, 'I have to tell everyone what just happened!'"

Cuoco explained that it all started when she was getting ready for her TV appearance earlier that evening and, like most people would, she showered.
"I go in the bathroom, butt naked, obviously," she said. "And I think, 'Okay, I'm going to start drying my hair. I'm going to pre-dry my hair a little bit'.
"Butt naked in my bathroom, in my shower, in my hotel room."

If you hadn't gathered, Cuoco didn't have a stitch on - but anyway, she then started to 'dramatically blow dry' her hair and ended up really getting into it.
The California-native continued: "It felt like I was in a commercial. And I look up in the mirror...and I see a man in my room."
An obvious cause for concern - however, Cuoco reckons he must have worked there rather than him being a relentless stalker. So she thinks, anyway.
She explained the bloke didn't know if she had clocked his presence, so he proceeded to slowly try and get out of her room as fast as he could.

"He doesn't run...it's almost like when you see a bear and you don't want to move," Cuoco laughed. "And then I go, 'Sir?'
"He now knows I saw him, then he picks up speed, saying, 'I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry'.
"He runs out and I'm just standing there with the blow dryer on."
That commercial fantasy really took quite the turn, didn't it?
Cuoco went on: "What was that? I think he worked at the hotel...I hope. That's what happened two hours ago, and I haven't talked about it or mentioned it to anyone.
"I had to get it off my chest. It was crazy. I mean, it felt fake. It was like a movie. Anyway, I had to tell you, because you can't make this up."
So if you see this plot in the next season of Based on a True Story, you know where it came from.
