Large sections of Los Angeles are in ruins after a series of wildfires have tragically caused loss of life and property.

There were eight fires around the LA county, with three of those now having been contained by firefighters.

At the time of writing, the Palisades Fire has burned more than 20,000 acres and destroyed over 5,000 homes and businesses, with Sky News reporting that it was the 'biggest' so far, while the Eaton Fire near Pasadena has devastated up to 5,000 structures and spread to 14,000 acres.

While it's said that strong winds and lack of rain have exasperated the fires, police believe that the Kenneth fire was intentional, with a man being since been arrested in suspicion of arson.

As thousands of civilians and have lost their homes, a number of celebrities have also been forced to say goodbye to their residences.
