Even on his days off, Mark Wahlberg doesn't let his ridiculously high standards slip.
So much so, that The Italian Job star recently revealed that he counts sleeping until 4.30am as a lie in while sharing his 'cheat day' routine.
His fitness plan has been a point of interest with fans since 2018, when the actor, 52, detailed the incredible lengths he goes to to keep in shape - starting with setting his alarm for 2.30am, daily cryogenic chamber sessions and spending several hours in the gym.

Wahlberg has since toned down his intense routine and says he is seeing even better results than before.
I mean, it's still a ridiculously strict regimen to follow, but he has extended his wake up time until 3.30am, dedicates an hour or so to saying prayers and then knocks back a cocktail of supplements and vitamins.
The dad-of-four only eats during a strict window of time - known as intermittent fasting - meaning he can only munch on stuff between midday and 6pm.
His healthy high-protein diet consists of chicken, turkey, egg whites and rice. So with all that dedication, it's no wonder Wahlberg is absolutely ripped.

The Ted actor, who stars in the upcoming Apple film The Family Plan with Michelle Monaghan, says his sleeping schedule is key to fuelling him for a demanding day of workouts, filming and fatherhood.
During an interview with Parade, he explained he does allow himself a day off to recharge - but he doesn't spend it on the couch shoving chocolate cake in his mouth and gorging on tubs of ice cream.
Wahlberg, who co-founded sports utility brand Municipal, is much more easily pleased, simply saying: "Today was my day off. I woke up at 4.30am."

He's well aware that an extra hour in bed doesn't exactly equate to a cheat day, but he explained that he still has a hectic schedule to keep up with - and why should he undo all his hard work?
The star continued: "Look, I always get at least eight hours of sleep.
"Sleep is just as important if not more important than exercise, so finding that balance, especially getting older, I’m just trying to work on longevity and being as healthy as I can as long as I can.

"I’ve also done all my recovery stuff, my prayer time, reading my scripts and working on the script that I’m doing for a commercial today. I’ll be fasting today, so I won’t eat any food all day, so I wouldn’t call it really a cheat day."
Wahlberg says he heads off to bed at around 8pm every night as part of his structured routine - an attitude which his four children Ella, 20, Michael, 18, Brendan, 15, and Grace, 13, have all inherited.
He laughed: "I just tell them no matter what, get enough rest because I will be knocking on the door at 6:30 in the morning to get you up for school.
"My 13-year-old, she’s so disciplined and focused, she goes to bed before any of us.she goes to bed before any of us.

"She doesn’t want us to come and bother her. She wakes up to go to the barn and start her day caring for her horses and preparing for training.
"I always say to people it took me at least to my 30s to become disciplined and she is that way at 13."
Go Grace!
