In this day and age, it's best to second guess whatever you see on social media rather than taking it as face value.
Internet users have artificial intelligence (AI) at their fingertips and deepfakes are flying around left, right and centre at the moment.
I mean, a doctored video of President Donald Trump worshiping Elon Musk's feet was blasted across government TVs in the US last week, so you really do have to take everything with a pinch of salt.

Which is why a lot of people were left convinced that footage of Mark Zuckerberg singing and dancing in a sparkly blue jumpsuit must have been a hoax.
However, the video is very much real - and the Meta boss himself is the one who shared it on social media.
Zuckerberg decided to make his wife's 40th birthday one to remember by channelling his inner Benson Boone and putting on an eye-popping performance in front of their loved ones.
Priscilla Chan is one lucky lady, eh?

As well as throwing a lavish party in her honour, Zuckerberg decided to recreate Boone's memorable performance at this year's Grammys...and yes, that means ripping off a tuxedo to reveal a jazzy jumpsuit.
It turns out that the 40-year-old Facebook founder was actually wearing the exact same outfit as the singer, 22, which he sported during his headline-hitting set at the awards show on 2 February.
In the clip, two glamorous assistants are seen ripping Zuckerberg's tux off of him to reveal a snazzy blue jumpsuit.

The tech mogul is then seen prancing around the stage while seemingly belting out one of Boone's songs.
But Zuckerberg decided to play it safe and simply jump off of a piano while on stage, rather than attempting to recreate Boone's backflip off of the instrument.
Chan looked elated by her husband's surprise, as did other partygoers who were seen in the footage.
Sharing the video in an Instagram post, Zuckerberg wrote: "Your wife only turns 40 once! Shoutout to @bensonboone for the jumpsuit and new single."

He had also previously shared snaps of him and Chan celebrating her birthday, where he dubbed her 'the most important person in his life'.
"You are a great partner, mother, and friend, and I'm grateful to share this life with you," he wrote.
Which is all very sweet and all... but people still just can't get their heads around seeing Zuckerberg cosplay as a glittery-jumpsuit-wearing pop star.

A number of people took to X to share their thoughts on their footage, explaining that they were still unsure whether it was 'real or very good AI'.
One said: "I thought this was an AI generated video, it’s not?"
Another wrote: "What is going on with Zuck, surely this is fake!"
A third added in disbelief: "Can’t believe this is real!"
A fourth commented: "Seriously, is this AI?????"
And a fifth joked: "Ironic that as AI gets more personable and human-like, so does the Zuck…"
To be fair to these lot though, even Boone admitted that he 'couldn't believe his eyes' in the comment section of Zuckerberg's post.
According to ABC, the 'Beautiful Things' hitmaker also hopped into the comments of another post which featured the footage to add: "I hope his nuts are okay. That thing is so tight."
Ouch.
