Matthew Perry’s family are speaking out after the actor passed away.
The Friends star died yesterday (28 October) at the age of 54.
Perry was reportedly found in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home.

The star was perhaps best known for playing Chandler Bing in the beloved sitcom.
NBC (the network which aired Friends) confirmed this tragic news in a statement, writing: “We are incredibly saddened by the too soon passing of Matthew Perry.
“He brought so much joy to hundreds of millions of people around the world with his pitch-perfect comedic timing and wry wit. His legacy will live on through countless generations."
Since the news of Perry's passing broke overnight, tributes have poured in for the global star.

Maggie Wheeler, who played Janice Hosenstein on Friends, shared a photo of the pair to Instagram, writing: "What a loss. The world will miss you Mathew Perry.
"The joy you brought to so many in your too short lifetime will live on.
"I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared."

The star played Chandler throughout all 10 seasons of Friends, between 1994 and 2004.
Perry's family exclusively told PEOPLE they are 'heartbroken' after his 'tragic' death.
"We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend," the family say.
"You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love."

Fans flooded the comments of the actor's last Instagram post with tributes to and praise for the star.
“Watching Friends will never be the same. He was a legend idk what to say I am about to cry," one wrote.
“Thank you and I hope you know how much you were and will be loved.”

Another put: “I did survive very stressful times thanks to him and the rest of the gang. Feels like losing a friend, doesn’t it?”
As others wrote: “I’ve dreaded this day my whole life.”
Many also agreed: “We all lost a Friend today.”

An investigation into Perry’s death is currently ongoing and a cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
There was no apparent foul play.
