A former co-star of Russel Brand's said she threatened him to not 'try anything' while they were working on a movie together.
Back in 2008, Kristen Bell starred as the title character in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, where she performed alongside Brand, Jason Segel and Mila Kunis.
Brand was recently accused by multiple women of rape and sexual assault following an investigation by The Times and Channel 4 programme Dispatches.

The investigation brings forth allegations from multiple women who claim that Brand abused them and, in some cases, raped them.
Before the investigation was published and broadcast, Brand posted a video saying he denied the 'very serious criminal allegations' and 'absolutely refutes' the accusations made against him.
The women who spoke in the documentary Russell Brand: In Plain Sight remained anonymous, while the Channel 4 programme also showed clips from Brand's stand up and conversations he had on his radio show, including with notorious paedophile Jimmy Saville where they joked about Brand's assistant.

One woman said she was 16 when she entered a relationship with then 31-year-old Brand and claimed that he used coercive control with her in a three month relationship.
Another alleged that he sexually assaulted her while she was working for him and was threatened with legal action if she spoke out about it.
A third woman claimed that Brand raped her at his Los Angeles home and that she was treated at a rape crisis centre the same day.
According to a fourth woman in the investigation, Brand was sexually, emotionally and physically abusive with her.

The Metropolitan Police yesterday (18 September) confirmed that they'd received a complaint about Brand about an alleged sexual assault in Soho in 2003.
Kristen Bell, who'd worked with Brand on Forgetting Sarah Marshall, said in interviews shortly after the film's release that she'd 'intimidated' Brand into not trying anything with her.
In one interview, she said: "He didn't try to mess with me or get in my pants. He knew I would lop his nuts off."

Another interview had her saying: "I made it really clear from the beginning that I would sock him in the balls if he tried anything. So he was intimidated."
She later told the Daily Mail in 2009: "He knew I wouldn’t stand for any of his nonsense."
Following the allegations of sexual assault, Brand has been dropped by his talent management agency, saying in a statement that he denied allegations against him in 2020, but they now believe they were 'horribly misled' by him.
YouTube have also suspended monetisation on Brand's channel for violating their policy and that all channels owned or operated by Russell Brand will not be able to make money on the platform.
