Snoop Dogg delivered a massive shock to his fans yesterday (15 November).
The ‘Young, Wild & Free’ rapper announced he’s going to ‘give up smoke’.
Now, we don’t for sure know what ‘smoke’ Snoop is giving up but most fans have of course presumed he means weed.

Because, well, the 52-year-old doesn’t shy away from making his use of the stuff known.
The rapper has previously been accused of smoking ‘between 75 to 150 joints’ each day and even owns his own cannabis brand, Leafs By Snoop.
Plenty of fans do think it’s a bit of a prank though, as Snoop continues to ask people to ‘respect my privacy’ in a later post.
Causing shock amongst his fans (as some promise to take on the task of smoking his leftover weed), he wrote on social media: “After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke.”

Yeah, seems suss but maybe he really is ditching his weed-smoking habits.
But many fans have noticed a strange detail in this story. Well, there’s plenty of missing details from him on this really.
Only a matter of hours before his post, it was confirmed the rapper and Martha Stewart were launching a new product.

A smoking product.
The pair announced ‘Best Buds Bags’ earlier this week, which are literally little crossbody bags with a lighter.
Reported by The Source, Snoop said: “This bag’s got it all. From my favourite lighter, favourite colour, and dime-sized secret stash pockets to stash my favourite herbs.”
Martha also added: “You never know when you’re going to need a lighter! The Best Buds Bag combines convenience and style into one.”

Plus, these bags are a little taste of the pair’s upcoming lighter collection, said to be released in early 2024.
Seems like an interesting venture for someone who is supposedly ‘quitting smoking’.
Fans pointed this out in the comments as they said: “Didn’t he announce he stopped smoking 20 mins ago?”

Many echoed: “Yep. I was thinking the same thing.”
If anything, Snoop has got his fans spinning as they try and figure out what he actually means.
“Uncle never said he’s quitting marijuana, he’s quitting smoke,” one pointed out.
Another added: “He still get high just not through the lung.”
Others also speculated: “Lemme guess you about to drop a line of edibles?”
As another said: “Weed believe it when we see it.”
