There’s a number of things you might link to Snoop Dogg, from dropping it like its hot to the Just Eat advert – no one will ever top it.
But of course, there’s also weed. Snoop is synonymous with the spliffs.
However, the rapper announced yesterday he was ‘giving up smoke’.

Snoop was once said to be ‘smoking between 75 and 150 joints each day’ so it’s been a real shock to many to hear him ditch the habit.
Well, many do think his announcement on social media was a joke, but others do believe he’s truly giving it up.
The 52-year-old wrote 'I’m giving up smoke’ alongside a black and white snap of himself with explanatory text.
On the photo, his message reads: “After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke.

“Please respect my privacy at this time. Snoop Dogg.”
And about 10 or so hours later, the ‘Young, Wild & Free’ rapper shared his first words since the announcement.
Alongside a selfie on Instagram, Snoop wrote: “Respect my privacy.”

Black Jesus actor Slink Johnson commented: “Hey man, I understand... We go through different paths on our journey. Much luv to you.
“Let me come pick up that smoke you're giving up and get it out of your way. You don't need that there.”
Many pointed out that ‘withdrawals won’t be easy’ as rapper Queen Latifah wrote: “We love you over here!!!”

And if Snoop has quit the blunts for life, then surely that means his professional joint roller is out of a job.
The rapper previously employed a woman named Renegade Piranha to do his rolling.
She previously appeared on The Review podcast with Yarmacrazy explaining just how she managed to land this job.
Renegade recalled: “I knew a girl that knew the grow that was dealing using Snoop’s Premium Nutrients, which is a brand he has of really amazing premium nutrients for you to grow really amazing... premium things with.

“So they were looking for someone to roll up for him, versus them just gifting him all the tree, and the girl - I guess – told these people, like, ‘Yo, I know this chick. She rolls the best blunts. You guys should have her do it'.”
Snoop also revealed he paid the roller ‘somewhere between $40,000 and $50,000 a year’, along with perks like ‘free weed’ and ‘all paid expenses’.
