They came second behind China's Lian Junjie and Yang Hao, meanwhile Canada's Rylan Wiens and Nathan Zsombor-Murray have taken the bronze.
The pair have now said they they have a 'friendship for life' following their experience at the games and their months of training.
In fact, providing fans with an insight into their friendship, the athletes appeared on Tom's YouTube channel where they answered fan questions.

Discussing a birthday present that Tom gave Noah on his 21st birthday, one fan asked: "How did you know what size c**k sock to make Noah?"
Tom took up knitting and crochet during the pandemic and during the 2020 Olympics, he unveiled an Olympic-themed cardigan that he knitted.
In fact, he often knits in the stands while others compete.

Tom replied: "I basically… I go by the one-size-fits-most rule."
And Noah said: "The other part of that question is, are you surprised I’ve actually worn it a few times?"
"No, I’m not," said Tom.
"I think you actually posted a photo on your OnlyFans."
Another of Tom's teammates who has an OnlyFans account is Jack Laugher.

Laugher has explained there is one very specific rule he has when it comes to posting content to the subscription service that is, for many, synonymous with adult content.
Laugher offers a subscription service of $10 (£7.80) a month. If you want to go all in for the year, there's a reduce flat fee of $102 (£79).
However, there is strictly no nudity on Laugher's page.
"I was the first person to do it in our team," he explained.

"Dad was saying to me - 'You put stuff out on Instagram for free – but when the product is free, like Instagram is, you are the product'. So now I’m giving people stuff which is very similar to what I post online, but it’s for a small subscription fee.
"There’s loads of us – not just me and Noah – [but] myself and Noah are the big two right now on it. All of us are in the same position.
"It’s actually quite nice to all be on board together. And I’ve had other athletes from other nations message me."
