Details of the 'swimming incident' at an Ibiza villa which resulted in Zac Efron being rushed to hospital have begun to emerge following the star's health scare.
The 36-year-old actor, from California, was soaking up the sunshine with pals on the party island when he ran into trouble in the water early on Saturday (3 August) morning.
He was hospitalised as a 'precautionary measure' and was released the following day after the incident in the pool, which is said to have been a result of him diving into it.

Efron ended up submerging himself so deeply that he hit the bottom of the pool, according to TMZ, and ingested water into his lungs.
The publication said that the Iron Claw star 'showed signs of distress' and that he was helped out of the water by onsite security staff, before being taken to get checked over by medics.
Efron - who shot to fame as teen heartthrob Troy Bolton in High School Musical - is said to have been left 'momentarily dazed' by the incident, according to insiders.

After arriving at the hospital, he was reportedly taken for a chest X-ray to ensure that the water had expelled itself from his lungs and doctors gave him the all-clear within a few hours.
However, TMZ claims that the 17 Again actor decided to camp out at the health facility for a bit longer than needed after realising that photographers had got wind of his hospital admission, who had began to crowd outside.
The publication were reportedly told that Efron is now 'recovering just fine' and has bounced right back to normal.
And by normal, we mean his version of normal - which apparently translates to chest pressing two dumbbells on an exercise ball in Ibiza's sweltering heat - as you do.

Efron captioned the image: "Happy and healthy - thanks for the well wishes."
He is since said to have travelled back to the US after being spotted dining out in Ibiza on Sunday.
LADbible has contacted Efron's representative for further comment.

This isn't the first time that the actor has sparked panic among fans after getting in the wars, as he memorably shattered his jaw while running in the house more than a decade ago.
The film star explained that he fell while wearing slippery socks in 2013, resulting in him hitting his chin against a granite corner of a fountain and knocking himself out in the process.
After waking up, Efron said he realised his 'chin bone was hanging off his face'.
He claimed that as a result of the injury, the masseter muscles on the inside of his face and jaw then 'grew' and 'got really, really big', which he said is the explanation behind his different appearance in recent years.

Viewers watching him star alongside Nicole Kidman and Joey King in A Family Affair - which was originally meant to have a much ruder name - were reminded of the 2013 incident again after seeing the flick.
But it's water off a duck's back for Efron.
He previously told Men's Health: "If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do. I definitely wouldn't be able to do this work."
