Actor David Spade donated thousands to a Burger King employee who only received a goodie bag in recognition of his 27 years of service to the company.
Earlier this week, Kevin Ford went viral after he opened up a small bag of gifts that he received from HMS Host, the company from which Burger King hires staff.
The cook/cashier, who works at the Burger King in the Las Vegas airport, says he felt the company sent him a load of stuff 'they had lying around'.

The 54-year-old, although grateful for the so-called gesture, telling TMZ: "I'm happy about anything, I'm thankful for anything I get, I'm not that type of person, believe me. I've been through a lot.
"It's a great company, you know, I've been there 27 years.

"But like most big corporations, they've kind of lost touch with their workers, and through Covid and whatever, they started cutting out programs."
He added: "We used to get cheques for 20 years, and that's what I actually thought that movie ticket was.
"I was like 'hey, they finally gave me my card', and then I saw it was not even two movie tickets – it was one.

"So I was like 'this is just too much', and [it seemed] it was just stuff they had laying around that they put together."
And his hard work appeared to touch comedy star Spade, who subsequently donated $5,000 to his GoFundMe after learning of the viral moment.
After his daughter notified him of the celebrity donation, Ford immediately checked his Instagram messages and learned that the comedian had slid into his DMs, congratulating him on all his hard work.
