Most people getting an autograph from famous Hollywood star Elijah Wood would probably like him to sign a picture from one of the Lord of the Rings movies. Not this TikToker, however:
The blockbusting, Oscar-winning trilogy adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy made Wood one of the most recognisable actors in the world for his portrayal of heroic hobbit Frodo Baggins.

However, one woman decided she wanted the actor to bless a picture of another of his iconic roles with his signature.
That role is of course 'The Guy' from 2003's Spy-Kids 3D: Game Over, where Wood plays the mythical gamer rumoured to be able to beat the unbeatable final level of the game everyone is trapped in.
What actually happens in the film is quite different, so spoiler warnings below if you're haven't yet seen this classic movie.

TikTokker @fleeting_dreamer was able to meet Wood for an autograph at fan convention Calgary Expo, where she handed him a picture of himself in the movie.
An obliging Wood happily signed the picture and remembered the character as 'very cocky'.
It's a a pretty accurate description considering his character shows up near the end of the movie, announces he is 'The Guy' everyone's been talking about and promises to lead the characters to the end of the game, only to almost immediately get electrocuted by a trap and lose all of his lives.
Some commenters pointed out that the picture he signed was a shot from the movie taken right before his sudden death, while others were delighted to see that Wood appeared to enjoy being recognised as 'The Guy'.

Wood is in the movie for less than two minutes but fans enjoyed his appearance so much that it's still a role people remember him fondly for.
Fans of the movie still occasionally edit his Wikipedia entry to claim he's best known for his portrayal of 'The Guy' rather than anything he did in Lord of the Rings, or any of his other movies for that matter, and Wood has had fun seeing how people still love him all these years later.
There is something incredible about seeing the leading actor of what was the biggest movie trilogy of its time show up for a cameo in a Spy-Kids movie and be unceremoniously killed less than two minutes in.

While he'll always be Frodo Baggins for some people, there are people for whom Elijah Wood is 'The Guy', and it's always nice to see an actor embracing the love for some of their more cult roles.
