The internet is praising Billie Eilish’s acting chops after the new trailer for Swarm dropped.
The new trailer to her upcoming thriller show, Swarm, shows Eilish in a mysterious role utilising those piercing blue eyes of hers to talk to the show's protagnoist, Dre (played by Dominique Fishback).

While we know the 21-year-old is the queen of topping the charts, the singer will soon dominate the small screen.
And fans are already buzzing over her acting debut.
One person wrote: “I KNEW I WAS A @billieeilish STAN FOR A REASON. OKAY DOUBLE THREAT.”
Another said: “Billie needs to change career trajectories. NOW !!”

While a third commented: “Girlie is trying to go for that EGOT lmao.”
Co-created by Janine Nabers and Donald Glover, Swarm tells the story of Dre, a young woman who is obsessed with a fictional pop star (whose oeuvre and aesthetic are very similar to Beyoncé), with an intense fanbase known as ‘The Swarm’ - we’re all getting flashes to ‘Bey Hive’ right about now.

The show is a dive into Dre's life, her fandom, and how it takes her to dark, unexpected places.
Dominique Fishback stars as Dre, who is joined by Chloe Bailey, Damson Idris, Paris Jackson, Rory Culkin and Eilish as Eva.
However, this isn’t the first time Glovers and Nabers have teamed up, as the two both worked on season three of the critically acclaimed show Atlanta.
So, we have no doubt that their new project will be nothing short of genius, given their previous body of work.

And while little is known about the singer’s role, Eilish previously stated that she would only ever act if she fell in love with the script.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, when asked if she had aspirations to appear in TV and film, Eilish said: “If I fall in love with something, I would love to act in it.
“It would only have to be the right thing because I’m not an actor and I’m not… It’s not my calling, but I’ve always loved acting.
"I loved acting as a kid. I would have to really, really feel a connection and have a moment of just, I don’t know, love for it.”

But given the fan reaction to her appearance in Swarm, we feel a mountain of scripts will soon be sent Eilish’s way.
