Hugh Grant has been having something of a renaissance lately, with fans loving his roles in Paddington 2, Heretic and Wonka to name a few.
He has been revelling in his latest roles as well as giving hilarious interviews to the press.
Hugh has also been known for his generous nature when it comes to gifts.

While Hugh may be winning over fans with his acerbic wit and funny stories, it seems one person in particular wasn't very happy with him.
Hugh revealed in a recent interview with former co-star Nicholas Hoult that he offended the mother of another child star with a gift that was considered 'inappropriate'.
He reunited with Nicholas, whom he starred with in About A Boy when Hoult was just 11.
The duo went on a trip down memory lane, with Hoult recalling a gift Hugh gave him when the filming wrapped up.

"You got me my first set of clubs as a wrap gift from About a Boy. Do you remember that? And you signed the golf bag as well" said Nicholas.
Hugh did remember, and said it was a 'charming' gift, before telling Vanity Fair: "It’s better than the wrap present I gave to my son on The Undoing".
The series, released in 2020, was a whodunnit series with Grant starring as Jonathan Fraser, the husband of a wealthy therapist - played by Nicole Kidman.

Fraser becomes embroiled in a high-profile murder case, and Grant gifted the actor who played his son a present when the HBO show wrapped filming.
The son was played by Noah Jupe, and Grant confessed he gave him 'a box of cigars. His mother was furious'.
Nicholas asked how old Jupe was at the time, with Grant replying '11!'

However, reports say that Jupe was born in 2005 and was actually 14 at the time of filming.
Nicholas also reunited with Toni Colette, who played his mother in About A Boy, when he starred in the new project Juror #2.
He is also set to appear in Nosferatu.
Elsewhere in their chat, Hugh revealed that young Nicholas picked a car for him.

“I loved cars" Hoult revealed.
"I remember I’d go out and buy car magazines, and I’d bring them to work and be like, ‘I think you should get this one.'"
Inspired by the young actor, Grant ended up buying an Aston Martin Vanquish: “It was a terrible choice of yours, actually. It broke down, humiliatingly, the whole time."
Whoops!
Hugh also revealed that he hoped About A Boy would show a different side to him: "My career was quite healthy. I'd done all those rom-coms. For About a Boy I felt, 'Oh everything is going to see a new side of me'.
"I cut that ghastly hair off, and [said] I'm doing an accent in that film."
