We've been given our first look at Wade Wilson and Dogpool together for Deadpool 3.
The aptly named pooch can be seen licking Ryan Reynolds' character's face in the image and it looks like they will be the best of buds on the big screen.
According to Movieweb, this is the first official picture from the threequel ahead of its much anticipated release next year.

While we've seen the likes of Reynolds and Hugh Jackman on set, we haven't been given something as high-res as this that's actually from the production team.
The star of the superhero franchise introduced the world to Dogpool back in early November.
He wrote on social media: "Did Dogpool save the day? Not a chance in gremlin hell. But she IS currently causing the Disney plushy merch department nightmares. Coming with the movie, Summer 2024."

Who wouldn't want to get a toy version of the, uh...beautiful looking canine?
The dog has racked up quite an impressive following on social media and now boasts more than 23,000 Instagram subscribers.
It's unclear what role Dogpool will have in the third instalment to the saga, but you can bet your bottom dollar that she will be a scene stealer.
Dogpool, Reynolds and Jackman will be joined on screen by Leslie Uggams, who is returning as the legendary Blind Al, Morena Baccarin who plays Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio.

We'll also be getting Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen in currently unnamed roles, as well as Jennifer Garner as Elektra.
Ryan revealed The Crown star was joining the team back in February, when he wrote: "New addition to the family! The Deadpool family, for clarity. Which is just like a real family except with less swearing… Welcome, Emma Corrin!"

Deadline reports Corrin has been cast as the villain for Deadpool 3, however it's not yet clear which enemy the writers have picked.
The film is expected to premiere on July 26 next year and is currently in production following the actors and writers strike ending.
