Rockstar has finally given fans a long-awaited update on what’s going on with Grand Theft Auto 6.
You’ve all read the memes online about how we got ‘such and such before GTA 6' - but you won’t be able to say that soon.
Take-Two Interactive, a major investor of the Rockstar Games, has come out to publicly show the notes from their conference call, which explained how well the company performed financially in quarter 1 of Fiscal Year 2025.

And it means good things for the future of the classic game series.
If you’re not sure what the whole finance thing means, every company’s financial year is usually between April to April - so if the 2025 financial year is April 2024, to April 2025, this is the first quarter of the fiscal year they can report on.
It’s confusing, but it’s a little bit of information you now know about.
Anyway, the company explained that the call between the Chairman and the CEO, and Strauss Zelnick was very positive about the game.

Focusing on the GTA franchise, he shared that releasing GTA 6 as planned in Autumn next year is all good to go.
Zelnick talked about the game during the call, its development and other GTA successes for the company.
He said as per ComicBook.com: "The Grand Theft Auto series exceeded our expectations, as momentum continues to build ahead of the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI in Fall 2025."

"Unit sales for Grand Theft Auto V continue to grow, and to date, the title has sold-in over 200 million units.
"Grand Theft Auto Online also surpassed our projections, led by its Summer content pack, Bottom Dollar Bounties, which launched June 25th.
"The audience for Rockstar's premium membership service, GTA+, grew strong double digits over last year, with Rockstar Games offering its members an array of valuable benefits that range from enhancing the in-game experience to providing access to their classic titles, including the recent addition of L.A. Noire."

Even though business is doing well and the success of GTA isn’t slowing down anytime soon, fans are still asking when they’ll be able to see another teaser trailer after the official was released not too long ago.
Well, it’s almost been a year and we’re looking at you, Rockstar Games.
Eight months have passed since the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer was released by the companies which threw fans into utter chaos.
However, we’ve had nada since.

If we’re going to go off GTA 5’s marketing strategy, surely, we should be waiting another four months until the second trailer drops as there was a year between the two during that round of promotional material.
11 months passed between the Red Dead Redemption 2’s official announcement and its second trailer, too.
So, we should be prepared for the second to drop in December - just in time for Christmas.
Obviously, nobody has confirmed this but come back to this article before New Years and let us know if we were right.
