Gavin and Stacey fans will be thrilled to hear that two of its stars are reuniting in Barry Island for a brand new show.
Alison Steadman and Larry Lamb, who played Gavin's parents Mick and Pam Shipman on the hit BBC series, are set to make their big TV return.

This time, though, the stars will be veering from comedy to travel, as the two set off on a 210 mile journey from Billericay in Essex to Barry in Wales, paying tribute to their time on Gavin & Stacey.
Larry, 75, and Alison, 76, are planning to bring out their inner Mick and Pam for this three-part series, which promises to feature some surprise guests along the way.
Commenting on the upcoming show, Alison said: "I can’t wait to take this trip down memory lane to explore Pam and Mick’s neck of the woods, as well as so many other locations precious to me.

“And who better to do it with than Larry! I’m so excited to be reunited."
Larry added: "I am really looking forward to reminiscing with Alison whilst taking the trip from Billericay to Barry, it was such a huge part in the plot of Gavin and Stacey.
“This journey holds a special place in my heart and I hope the fans are pleased with it.”
Those of you who were crossing their fingers for a reboot or another Christmas special shouldn't hold your breath, unfortunately.

After the beloved December 2019 Christmas special, it looks like Matthew Horne, Joanna Page, Ruth Jones and James Corden aren't planning a reunion any time soon.
When it was announced that James Corden would be wrapping up his time hosting The Late Late Show in the States and returning to the UK, rumours started flying that a Gavin and Stacey reunion was in the works.
But according to Ruth Jones, that's not the case.

Speaking to The Independent last year, the series co-creator revealed that there are no plans to bring the cult favourite show back.
"It’s almost like you mention the words Gavin and Stacey and people assume it’s back. But it’s not," she affirmed.
She added at the time: "I’m sure, at some point, James [Corden] and I will write something together. But it won’t be Gavin and Stacey.

"Certainly, when he’s back in the UK, I would have thought we would try and get together and write again because it was such fun to do that.”
That being said, there's every chance that some familiar faces might pop up in Alison and Larry's upcoming adventure.
