Harry Potter fans everywhere were delighted to witness Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe’s reunion, Return To Hogwarts this January, where the trio discussed their time in the franchise that shaped the childhoods of a generation.

Now, watchers of the highly-anticipated HBO reunion special have gone wild on TikTok over an iPhone trick which allows Apple users to ask Siri Harry Potter spells in order to activate specific iPhone functions.

Who discovered the iPhone spells shortcut?

The TikToker, who goes by the handle @eve_edmunds, has expressed her love for the Harry Potter franchise on the platform, as well as sharing a slew of magical tips and tricks to turn your iPhone into a magic wand.

In one of her tutorials, she gives a step-by-step explanation for turning your iPhone torch on with a touch of Harry Potter magic.

Eve says: “You need to try this right now, say to your phone: ‘Hey Siri, Lumos’.”

“It’ll turn your torch on. Trust me, try it.”

In another iPhone spells tutorial she details how to turn off your phone torch without the click of a button.

Eve says in the second TikTok tutorial: “Oh my God guys I just tried this and it worked!”

“So, say: ‘Hey Siri, Lumos’ and it’ll turn your torch on, and say ‘Hey Siri’ again then say ‘Nox’ and it’ll turn your torch off.”

“Just trust me, try it!”

There’s also a third spell which Eve detailed: “Oh my God there’s another one!”

“Again, I’ve just tried it and it actually works!”

“So, say ‘Hey Siri’ and then say ‘Accio’ and a certain app," she instructs.

“So I just tried it and said ‘Accio TikTok’ and TikTok came up.”

“This is so cool! It’s like we can do magic with our phones! Just try it, please.”

“I’m gonna keep doing more and see if I can find others.”

What is the iPhone spells shortcut?

“Potterheads” will be glad to know they don’t need to study at Hogwarts to perform magic themselves on their phones.

All you need to do is tell Siri “Lumos” and “Nox” to turn your phone flashlight on and off. To open an app with the magic of Harry Potter, tell Siri "Accio" before the name of an app of your choosing.

Die-hard fans of the series will recall that the spell “Lumos” causes a wizard’s wand to light up, while “Nox” reverses the spell and turns the light off. Meanwhile, "Accio", or the Summoning Charm, was used to call an object towards the caster.

You're all wizards now, Harry.
